We’re Recruiting!

Eastside Community Connection offers unparalleled internship opportunities. Our interns have significant responsibilities, including designing our programs, maintaining our budget, and supervising other volunteers. This is not a “sit at your cubicle and make copies” internship ‐ you will make a real impact in our organization and in the community. Rather, interns learn-as-they-go and are required to take the initiative in creating their own projects that will help ECC improve its operations. The student-run model is designed to foster leadership development in an interactive and dynamic environment.

Interning at ECC is a great opportunity to learn more about non-profit management. The student-run model is designed to foster leadership development in an interactive and dynamic environment. We are recruiting interns for the following positions for Spring 2013Fall 2013

Feed the Children Event

On behalf of everyone at Eastside Community Connection, we would like to send out a huge thank you to Highland Mall, Feed the Children, Avon, NurturMe, Paul Mitchell Salons, Celebration of Love, Snappy Snacks, Adam’s Canopies, Austin Volunteer Clinic, and Austin Sunshine Camp for making our April 25th event such a success. Of course, we couldn’t forget our amazing staff and volunteers for braving the heat and dedicating their time to distribute 50,000 pounds of food and toiletries to 1,200 low-income Austin families outside Highland Mall.
