Eastside Community Connection in conjunction with American Textile Recycling Services of Austin (ATRS-TX) runs a neighborhood recycling program. Items donated are sold and a portion of the proceeds are donated to Eastside Community Connection. These donations help fund our food pantry, adult education programs, and help us maintain our operations. Your contributions are critical to Eastside Community Connection’s long-term success.

In addition to helping the program at Eastside Community Connection with your donation, you are helping the environment as well. Donated items are recycled where it would otherwise end up in landfills, saving both energy and raw materials in the process.

To find a donation box near you, email info@austinecc.org and we will help you locate a box in your neighborhood.

Sponsor a Donation Box

If you would like to sponsor a donation box site, there is absolutely no cost to you. ATRS- Austin agreed to provide all the necessary infrastructure required: the donation boxes, labor, trucks, supplies, management, warehousing and the expertise to convert public donations of clothing, shoes and miscellaneous household articles into much needed cash. ATRS also maintains a liability insurance in the amount of $3,000,000 for each location.
